Here are our predictions for the hottest trends for the coming year.

As wedding bells ring, the bride gets ready to walk down the aisle.
What will she wear is what everyone is thinking?
The style. The shade. The embellishments. The beading. The material.
In 2012, one of the most popular trends predicted is that brides all across the globe will be sporting Victorian style dresses. {I believe much credit to this goes to the Royal Wedding.}

   The 2012 Spring collections are out. Full skirts, lace, and corset tops are the main channel designers turned on for their collections;

Who knows, we might even see Hollywood's A-List actresses wear Victorian Style dresses in the next year!

Vera Wang advice on wedding's

[ planning ]
My Advice
Vera WangAs so many weddings today take place at night there is frequently no big send-off for the bride and groom. Even more to the point, many couples are loath to leave their own receptions, preferring to while the night away with their closest pals and another cocktail. In our case, we actually watched our wedding decorations being dismantled in anticipation of the next wedding.
For couples looking to make a grand exit, plan the details out in advance of your wedding day so you and your groom can leave in style. Have the master of ceremonies or best man advise all guests of your intentions so everyone can be present for the departure. Decorate the car, carriage, bicycles or whatever for the final exit. And if need be, have a change of attire handy. – XO, Vera

Feathers, slits of the skirts and sequins have become one of the largest trends in the bridal fashion. Brides, who bet on the off-beat dresses, will have big success. According to leading designers in the world of fashion, the trends this year will be unusual and little bizarre. Feathers, black embroidery, holes and loops are only a small part o the off-beat details that will be in fashion in 2011.

The 2011 Collection of Wedding Gowns are whimsical, embellished, romantic, classic, unique & dimensional!  Those are some varied descriptions we know… but there are so many styles out there that it is definitely a great time to be a Bride!  You have tons of options to choose from!
We are so excited to start seeing the 2011 Wedding Gown Trends come to life in some amazing dresses and are happy to share them with you! A lot of what we’ve been seeing in the 2011 gowns are a new interpretation of some of the 2010 trends, with romantic flairs and dimensional eye candy, with a few of those trends simply carrying over to the 2011 collections!

Romance continues for 2011. We saw lots of soft fabrics like organza and tulle, often paired with lace. Texture was represented in all of the collections- from ruffles, to layers to flowers- it is all about the dimension!

Extreme popularity will have the asymmetric necklines with feathers on them. Asymmetry is still in, either in the form of one shoulder dress and wedding gown with asymmetrical draping at the bodice. The feathers are used not only for the neckline, they can also embellish the skirt or even the hair of the bride, as an accessory. In fashion will also be mini wedding dresses above the knee, which can be combined with lace white tights and boots.

Two years ago, short wedding dresses were an uncommon sight in the runways and rarely ever worn at weddings itself. If a bride does get a short wedding dress, she usually wears it to the reception or rehearsal dinner. On the spring 2011 runway, however, short wedding dresses were everywhere because more and more women choose to wear them for the ceremony itself – especially if they’re held at venues like restaurants, backyards, or lofts. Here are some of the prettiest short wedding dresses of the season.

If youʼve got lithe legs (whether long or vertically challenged) than youʼre in luck this season. There is no lack of knee-length, miniʼs and super-miniʼs to choose from.
