We are so excited to start seeing the 2011 Wedding Gown Trends come to life in some amazing dresses and are happy to share them with you! A lot of what we’ve been seeing in the 2011 gowns are a new interpretation of some of the 2010 trends, with romantic flairs and dimensional eye candy, with a few of those trends simply carrying over to the 2011 collections!

Romance continues for 2011. We saw lots of soft fabrics like organza and tulle, often paired with lace. Texture was represented in all of the collections- from ruffles, to layers to flowers- it is all about the dimension!

Strapless ballgown with dipped neckline and corset closure. Created from Chic Organza, this design features plentiful textured frills throughout the skirt and a flattering asymmetrical bodice dropped below the waist.Intricate embroidery paired with embellished handmade flowers accent the neckline and side hip.

Extreme popularity will have the asymmetric necklines with feathers on them. Asymmetry is still in, either in the form of one shoulder dress and wedding gown with asymmetrical draping at the bodice. The feathers are used not only for the neckline, they can also embellish the skirt or even the hair of the bride, as an accessory. In fashion will also be mini wedding dresses above the knee, which can be combined with lace white tights and boots.

Two years ago, short wedding dresses were an uncommon sight in the runways and rarely ever worn at weddings itself. If a bride does get a short wedding dress, she usually wears it to the reception or rehearsal dinner. On the spring 2011 runway, however, short wedding dresses were everywhere because more and more women choose to wear them for the ceremony itself – especially if they’re held at venues like restaurants, backyards, or lofts. Here are some of the prettiest short wedding dresses of the season.

If youʼve got lithe legs (whether long or vertically challenged) than youʼre in luck this season. There is no lack of knee-length, miniʼs and super-miniʼs to choose from.

Feathers, slits of the skirts and sequins have become one of the largest trends in the bridal fashion.
Wow! What a pretty collection of wedding gowns
